I'm Mark

I spent years in tech and startups before deciding that I wanted to help people create meaningful change.

My path to therapy wasn't linear. After working in Silicon Valley, non-profits, and the arts, I kept finding myself in conversations where people were successful but stuck - dealing with the same relationship patterns, questioning what they'd built, or feeling like their usual problem-solving skills weren't working for life's deeper challenges.

So I made the switch. I earned my Masters in Counseling Psychology from Golden Gate University with Highest Honors, trained extensively in attachment theory and narrative approaches, and have worked with diverse communities at the Pacific Center for Human Growth and the Center for Mindful Psychotherapy.

What makes my background useful?

I understand the pressure to optimize everything, the complexity of relationships when you're used to solving problems, and what it feels like when your professional success doesn't translate to personal satisfaction. I've been in rooms where everyone's accomplished but half the people are quietly wondering "Is this it?"

I'm not interested in just helping you feel better about being stuck. I want to help you understand why you're stuck and build practical skills for creating the change you actually want.
